Amal Shibly was born in Kuwait in 1980. Her career started as a member of the Irbid Arabic Music Group and as a member in the university’s band.

Jarash Festival, Tripoli International Festival (Lebanon) and Babylon Festival are only a few of the local and international festivals she has participated in. She also took part in the Jordanian capital’s “I am Jordan” celebration in 2002 and received the award of Best Voice on the Arab satellite TV station MBC during the same year.

Amal received the second place in the Second Jordanian Song Festival that was under the auspices of HM King Abdallah II and HM Queen Rania. The lyrics of her award-winning song “Inta Lil Galb Nabda” were written by Osama Mutlag, and Nidal Obeidat composed the music. Music arrangement was by Haitham Sukkarieh.

The young Jordanian artist is working on her debut album, which is produced by Abu-Lughod Studios and Distributed by Rotana.
